Development & Construction
We currently use the refrigerant R134a as standard.
From 2020, we will gradually switch our production to R513a. This refrigerant is a mixture of R134a and R1234yf and has a GWP of 631.4.
In addition, small refrigeration systems with flammable refrigerants will be developed in the future. This is done in close cooperation with our customers. Many well-known companies have recognized this advantage and are working together with our development department to develop solutions that will enable them to compete successfully on the international market.
We plan and assemble all appliances in Germany ( Made in Germany ). We only use high-quality suppliers, preferably from Germany. When selecting the installed components, we ensure that they are available worldwide for spare parts requirements.

A major advantage for Ritter & bader is the fact that we are able to program freely programmable controllers ourselves and thus realize unusual control requirements.
Furthermore, our in-house development and design department enables us to respond to customer-specific requirements. This applies to housing and sheet metal constructions on the one hand and the design and construction of heat exchangers on the other. Our connections to manufacturers of heat exchangers allow for special designs of all kinds.

On request, we advise our customers and also train the service personnel.

Test bench
Device testing:
Every device is put through its paces in-house before it is delivered. We currently have 14 test benches available. Of these, 8 test benches are fully automated and specially designed for our series production. We have two climate chambers so that we can simulate any ambient conditions. A correspondingly large solar thermal system supplies the heat for the test benches. And when the sun is not shining, 6 CHP units supply the test benches with heat and electricity. An ice storage tank supplies them with cold water all year round. The entire electricity consumption is self-generated by CHPs, photovoltaics and wind power.
